‘In Between’ explores space, time and the void. A space and time where memory seems to be annulled; the instant that takes us from life to death, that accurate yet unknown time. The work is focused upon the existence between two points in a space without definition, and of an unknown time. The installation has two parallel projections in a completely dark space, creating a wide horizon; sometimes empty and other times with ephemeral figures that appear and dissolve creating fleeting moments. The images arise in groups or alone sporadically fading away like shadows of other beings. By exploring the installation, one feels isolated, submerged in an atmosphere where these figures float one in front of another at frozen intervals or in moments of movements. This provokes within the spectator the experience of finding himself or herself in an ethereal and untouchable medium, without a definition of time and space, surrounded only by unreal figures.
